Revelation - Brainstorming

Okay, I know that I've been lax in posting here and for that I'm sorry. The reason why is two-fold. One is time constraints, the other, more important, is writer's block.

Despite trying to throw together a good story on the fly, I just can't quite figure out what the heck Alex should be doing. So I'm throwing open the floor to ideas. Any thoughts on the direction the thread should take? I know we're trying to bring Caleb in and I'm working on getting to that point but I'm wondering what, if anything, should happen in the mean time.

Ok well We're running to the hide out. Anna is tired, maybe she needs to stop and rest. She's injured. They might stop and then hear a noise or something and then Caleb comes in??

I completely understand, we just need to get things going.
